the location proved excellent. it was next to both restaurants and shops (, made evenings easy). i could walk to st mark's square in about ten minutes. my room was acceptably clean when i arrived.
i was expecting a double bed. i instead found only a single bed. the room i had wasn't soundproof. i could hear the neighbors next door quite clearly (which was a bit disturbing).

the room i received did not match the advertisement. it was smaller than expected and lacked soundproofing, so i could hear the neighbors clearly. this arrangement is unsuitable for a romantic getaway.

the location was good since everything was nearby.
My room was near a smoothie shop, and i heard loud music until late at night and again early in the morning. the mixer sounds were also bothersome. It went on until after 11 pm and started again around 9 am. the mattress was also hard, which didn't help.

The room was clean. I appreciated the daily replenishment of fresh towels and toiletries. The location is excellent. It is close to many restaurants and shops.. The hotel offered great value for money.
